Hell Yes - The Season Hasn't Even Started And We Already Have Dak Prescott Sounding Fed Up With Jerry Jones Constantly Talking To The Media

Feel like usually this sort of quote is reserved for when the Cowboys lose like 41-17 in week 14 after everyone calls them Super Bowl contenders. I'll take it this early though, then again it makes sense when you consider Dak's whole contract situation. That man is fed up with Jerry Jones and it's impossible to blame him. This is the circus that Jerry loves and all of us who hate the Cowboys love at the same time.

Gonna be a real shame when Dak leaves next year and Trey Lance is lined up to be the starting QB for the Cowboys. A real shame. This is the game Jerry wants to play though. He talks about being all-in (only for this season) and has his starting QB and best defensive player out here looking for contracts. Not like you need those two spots anyways. And I get it's impossible to talk about Dak in any sort of rational standpoint. He's good enough to win a bunch of games, but he also plays for the Cowboys which means he collapses in the playoffs. Put him at nearly any other franchise (sorry Vikings and Bills fans) and he probably has some sort of postseason success. That's the world we live in with Dak as QB1 for the Cowboys.

I need more than anything for the Cowboys to get off to a slow start. I know it's more fun watching them shit themselves in the playoffs, but the content we're going to get from everyone involved if they are like 2-5 would be incredible. You'll have Mike McCarthy blankly staring off in the distance while Dak is starting to throw lines like this out all over the place. At least he has Dalvin Cook and Zeke to hand the ball off too. Older running backs always work out well in the NFL. God bless the Cowboys though. In the slowest of times, they always deliver some sort of stupid content. For that I will always want Jerry Jones in charge.
