The Niners Just Gotta Ship Brandon Aiyuk To Washington Already

Alright, enough is enough. Time to put an end to this toxic relationship by doing the only reasonable thing...shipping Brandon Aiyuk to the Commanders. Imagine how mad he'll be if he is traded from perennial Super Bowl contending San Fransisco to bottom of the barrel Washington. He'll be livid! And then he'll have to play with a rookie QB, oh man I bet he would HATE that. The Niners should just go ahead and do it. Take anything they can get for him just to make sure he's stuck in Washington.

No but seriously, I get it's all business from both parties but the season starts next week and Aiyuk is about as big of a pain in the ass for the Niners as a player can be. He has allegedly already turned down trades which is pretty bad ass if you're him and maybe the most infuriating thing in the entire world if you're John Lynch. I mean this guy won't practice, won't play, won't honor his contract...and then when they make a deal to trade him, he vetoes that too. Kinda great if you are Washington, where he clearly wants to play, that Aiyuk is destroying his trade value. Apparently the Niners asked for a 1st rounder and Terry McLaurin, which is pure insanity obviously. I'd happily give a 2nd and a 4th, twist my arm and I'll make it a conditional 3rd. But a top 10 WR and a 1st is so laughable.

I truly hope we do land him because as it stands the WR room is a bit light.

This is my thought process- it's worth overpaying for a stud WR now, because you need to give your rookie QB all the weapons he can get to help his NFL comfortability. Nobody wants to see Jayden have Olamide Zaccheaus as his WR2. Noah Brown was picked up today after clearing waivers from the Texans. Luke McCaffrey is a rookie. Dyami Brown is…well I mean he's fast and had a good camp but I'm not ready to call him the next Jerry Rice. And Crowder is still Crowder. It's not great.

And if he does land in DC, the good news is he already knows the playbook because Jayden someone sent him All-22 back in July.

John Lynch and Adam Peters gotta go grab a steak and make this deal happen.
