Oasis Getting Back Together Is Blowing My Mind

I cannot believe this is happening. It feels too good to be true. That after 15 years, my favorite band is finally, finally, FINALLY reuniting. I always believed, I always said one day it'll happen, but after 15 years to see it actually happen is truly a crazy feeling. I fell in love with Oasis around 2004 or so, have seen them in concert twice- once in Maryland in 2006 and once in London in 2009, and have seen Liam solo once as well. The fact the brothers are about to reunite for massive shows is blowing my mind.

Me and Bob did an emergency podcast about it today. We talk about our fandom, what we think the tour will be, songs we want to hear, and just go over how insane it is that this is happening. We are also both big Blink-182 fans, so it feels similar, but sort of a whole different level too. It's hard to explain to non-Oasis fans, and honestly since I was only 6 when Definitely, Maybe came out I don't have the full life experience, but Oasis was MASSIVE in their day. They never quite got superstardom in the United States, but around the world they were the biggest band for quite a while, and lived the rock n roll star lifestyle to the max.

These shows are going to be incredible. I'm planning on going to the UK for 1 or 2, and hopefully there are United States gigs as well. If the rumors are true we will be getting MetLife, Solider Field, and Rose Bowl. We will be there no matter what.

And if you are new to Oasis and don't know the full catalogue, man, check them out. So many incredible tunes. It's not just Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova. The catalogue is deep and full of bangers. Here's my top 30:

(I accidentally put Rock n Roll Star twice...put "Whatever" in place of one of em, thank you)

And check out the podcast with me and Robbie. Madferit.
