Juvenile Says “Fuck American Airlines” After They Kicked Him Out Of First Class
Complex- Juvenile has publicly called out American Airlines following a recent incident where the rapper and his wife were allegedly kicked out of first class on a flight headed to Dallas.
The "Back That Azz Up" rapper took to Instagram Live while he and his wife were being told by flight attendants that he had to move from first class to coach. When Juvie refuses to leave his seat, his wife can be heard telling them they were in their assigned seats.
Juvenile eventually told them he preferred to just get off the plane, as opposed to allowing them to "disrespect me like that."
"I’m a celebrity," he said. "I'm telling you this is going to be repercussions. It's going be repercussions to this because I'm going to get off the plane. I'm going to get off the plane. I'm not going to let y'all disrespect me like that. I'm not going to let y'all choose me out of all the people on the plane and disrespect me. So I'm going to get off the plane."
Well that’s a wrap for American Airlines I guess? Once you have Juve The Great going on Instagram exposing you like that, there’s no coming back.
He even had the receipts. Lots of them.
Juvenile later posted another video showing his previously booked flights, many of which were with American Airlines. "I think I know a thing or two about first class," he said. “Fuck American Airlines, all the money I done spent with you bitches."
"They gonna try and put me in coach," he continued. "Motherfucker, I ain't never flew coach. Fuck y’all. I feel played.”
The New Orleans native ended up taking a flight with another airline in order to make it in time for his show in Fort Worth.
The thing about flying, and airlines, is the entire process sucks. Nobody enjoys doing it, and you've got to be a real asshole to make the whole experience worse than it already is for fellow passengers and airline staff. But that said, there are of course airlines that do a much better job at making the experience less arduous than others. As somebody who flies pretty often, I feel like Delta, though definitely not immune to the occasional fuck up, goes above and beyond compared to the rest of the airlines. Followed by Southwest and United. For an airline who was arguably the worst in the game 10 or so years ago, United has done an amazing job of making over their image, rebuilding their customer service department, and rebuilding their image and brand. If we're being totally honest, Southwest has gone the opposite direction. Once being head and shoulders above not just the other airlines in terms of customer service, but at the head of the class of major corporations altogether. Not so much anymore.
Jake Marsh actually blogged about this a few weeks ago and I couldn't agree more with his list.

Jetblue is a great airline, with great planes, and they're usually on time whenever I fly them. My only knock on them is they have the absolute worst clientele based on the routes I've been on with them. That NYC to Miami, or NYC to Puerto Rico, or Boston to NYC flight lumps you in with a plane full of people that makes a Spirit Airlines flight look like you're flying private.
But, as Juvenile, and Jake Marsh both pointed out, there is just no arguing that American is the absolute pits when it comes to airlines.
I have friends who fly strictly business class and have premier status with American who always tell me I'm crazy and that they're great. But when your company is paying for you to sit in first class, and you get complimentary lounge access, and you can carry on whatever the fuck you want because of your status, its a different ballgame we're talking about. For the rest of us, flying on American is a fucking nightmare.
For starters, the app sucks. It's absolute garbage. Half the time you can't even pull up your boarding pass on it, they make you print it from a kiosk. Speaking of the kiosks, if you need to do anything whatsoever on it that differs from your original booking, prepare to pay out the ass. They charge for fucking everything under the sun.
And no matter what airport you're at, they always have these little goblin looking old hags walking around demanding that you squeeze your carry on into their carnival game contraption that wasn't designed for any brand of actual carry on luggage to fit. All so they can instruct you you'll need to pay to check your bag.
They have the worst in class on-time departure and on-time arrival rate.
They're attendants are all rude assholes who act like they hate their jobs. Probably because they hate their jobs.
And they just give zero fucks.
Hence, them overbooking flights regularly, and booting people from seats with nothing but a "whoops, sorry, is what it is", just like they did with Juvenile.
Glad somebody with the clout and respect that Juvenile commands finally stepped forward and said enough is enough of their shit.
Hopefully this is just the beginnning.
From this day forward, the word hero is now spelled J-U-V-E-N-I-L-E.
