UFC Fighter Casey O'Neill Does The "Raygun" Celebration In Honor Of The Australian Olympics Breakdancer

UFC 305 is LIVE from Perth, Australia with a grudge match between Dricus du Plessis and Israel Adesanya in tonight's main event - but the prelims just wrapped up, and I thought I'd share a few of the highlights; the first of which being Casey O'Neill's "Raygun" celebration after she secured a unanimous decision win over Luana Santos....

This is of course in tribute to the Australian breakdancer from the Olympics who went super viral for flailing around like a fish on the most prestigious athletic stage on the planet....

….but if you didn't know that, I can't imagine how jarring that was. I wonder if Luana knew or not. Actually funny celebration, though - credit to her.

On the flip side - something that made me cringe?

Look at the welt on Rick Glenn's fuckin head! That looks like a piece of viral marketing for the new 'Alien' movie! He's got a chestbuster trying to get out of his skull! Gross. Disgusting. No offense Rick Glenn.

Jesus Aguilar opened the card by jumping guilly (shoutout to Dustin Poirier) and having to actually let the ref know when his opponent went unconscious….

Herbert Burns said "no mas" after getting his legs absolutely chopped down by Jack Jenkins….

Burns is now 2-4 in the UFC, and 0-4 in his last four. Not sure if he's gonna get another crack in there or not.

Weirdly, in the prelim headliner, Junior Tafa got tossed in a heel hook and screamed in pain (which counts as a verbal submission and always has) and then got mad at Valter Walker and smacked him afterwards?

Walker had a good callout afterwards, though, where he said he wanted Junior's brother, Justin, next. This Tafa vs Walker brothers rivalry could be special. Maybe Dana could get an international commission to agree to the first ever tag team match on Fight Island?

Main card is on now; I'm taking Prates, Tuivasa, Hooker, Erceg, Adesanya. I might regret the Tuivasa/Hooker picks later, but screw it - in the words of Joey Diaz, let's have some fuckin fun.
