Brendan Allen & Marvin Vettori Brawled On The Casino Floor After The PFL Playoffs Last Night
Last night, I went to the PFL Playoffs in Hollywood, Florida along with Big Ev and JackMac - and as we were walking into the venue (the Hard Rock Casino), I turned to Ev and said “You know, it’s a miracle more brawls don’t happen on the casino floor right after the fights let out.”
Combining all that alcohol and testosterone with that highly stimulating environment just seems like recipe for disaster, you know? Especially between teams/camps if anything extracurricular or controversial happened in the cage over the course of the night.
Anyway - I had an early flight, so I went back to our hotel as soon as the main event (a great scrap between Impa Kasaganay and Josh Silveira) concluded, while Ev/Jack stuck around to hit the tables, and before I even got back, I saw that they had tweeted about a brawl in the casino….
I immediately asked if they got to see it or just heard about it secondhand, and the answer was unfortunately the latter - but according to them, the word at the Hard Rock was that Brendan Allen charged Marvin Vettori and got dropped; and that’s the word we put out there!
Then the videos started to came out, and they paint a slightly different picture….
Brendan Allen charged Vettori for sure, but he definitely didn’t get dropped by a guy with one arm. So uh….sorry Brendan!

After this and our previous exchange this Summer, I feel like he probably hates our guts; maybe rightfully so….
Our bad! Please don't make one of us the next casino floor victim if we ever bump into each other!!
I’m kinda clueless as to what the root of all of this was, but this tweet from Alex Behunin is the most we've got info-wise….
Not sure why Vettori is swinging at anyone with one bad arm, but maybe we'll find out more in the coming days.
Dana was sure to get his licks in on Twitter right after this news broke….
Something tells me we're still only in the first inning when it comes to the Dana White/PFL rivalry.
P.S. Walking into my hotel lobby at 1am only to see Flavor Flav in a full Team USA jumpsuit and what I could only assume is some kinda water polo helmet was an ultimate mindfuck.
Shoutout Flavor Flav tho. What a nice guy. He was at the fights to support his godson - Muhammed Ali's grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh - who scored a huge knockout in his second pro fight ever….
He's everywhere recently, though. Everywhere I turn, I see Flavor Flav. I'm not fully convinced there's not multiple Flavors at this point.
