Robert Iler (AJ Soprano) Reveals The Most Emotional Moment On The 'Sopranos' Set

Longtime friend of the company Robert Iler stopped by Barstool NYC HQ this week to do a couple shows and discuss his podcast with Jamie-Lynn Sigler - Not Today Pal - and I got the opportunity to sit down with him (and guest co-host Glenny Balls) for over an hour just shooting the shit!

We talked Sopranos, of course - and in the clip above, he shares a story about shooting the finale, and how emotional it was when they realized the Sopranos family had been on screen for the final time - but we also touched on his role as "Bully #1" in Ben Affleck's Daredevil movie, life after being on one of the biggest shows of all time, our favorite movies and shows of the past few years, his appreciation for Barstool content, and more. He was a super cool dude, too; so easy to talk to and couldn't have been more down to earth and generous with his time.

It was awesome for me to pick his brain and hear stories about possibly the greatest cast in TV history (especially after I finished The Sopranos for the first time ever a few months ago) and really funny to hear just how into the Barstool weeds he is. At one point in the office he was like, "Oh, this is where Rico threw the can!" He's up there with Jerry O'Connell in terms of fandom, I think.

Note: this kinda goes without saying, but if you haven't seen/finished The Sopranos and still care about spoilers, I wouldn't watch this interview! We discuss the finale, the ending, some deaths, etc. Otherwise, enjoy!
