Just a reminder this is what Daniel Jones looks like now

Do I care that it's preseason and teammates are saying this? Absolutely not. I care that Kay Adams even knows bearded Daniel Jones is a different person

Because the rest of the NFL is in trouble. Not because Daniel Jones is going to win a Super Bowl this year, I'm dumb but not that dumb. But because he's about to play good enough to be traded for something. Not exactly a secret that Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen were more than ready to move on from Daniel Jones at the draft this season.

I'm pretty sure that every Giants fan besides Clem is ready to move on from Daniel Jones. Now we have weapons (as long as they stay healthy. For the love of God stay healthy). But anyone with a brain knows step 1 to being a decent quarterback - at least average - in the NFL is to grow a beard/change your hair/get hot. That or be Patrick Mahomes is basically the only way. It could be the painkillers, or lack of sleep, whatever it might be, I'm scratching and clawing for any sort of hope. I'm already living in a boot, I can't have my football team out of it before week 5. No chance I survive mentally if this happens and go back to the draft board only for a local Italian hero to win some games and cost us a chance at a quarterback.

Bearded Daniel Jones gets into scraps. Bearded Daniel Jones doesn't throw dumb interceptions. Bearded Daniel Jones doesn't fall over running. The stars are aligning for a season to keep away the apathy and a trade.
