JJ McCarthy Is Having An Absolutely Dynamite Training Camp And Non-Ball Knowers On The Internet Is Furious About It

I've been firm in my JJ McCarthy support since the start of the 2023 football season. Not only did I see him as a phenomenal college QB, but a future first round pick. I wrote blogs, had tweets, said it on podcasts and they all laughed. 

Of course, everything I said that would happen, did happen. JJ went on to be a top 10 pick and then the goalposts were MOVED. 

"No way he'll do well in the NFL"

"He can't even throw the ball"

"Look at how many pass attempts he had in college!"

These naysayers were saying the same thing prior to, and during the 2023 season. Am I surprised to see JJ is doing well in training camp? Of course not. The man beat depression by googling it. You think he is scared of the NFL?

The replies were predictable. 

There are 1,000 of them, but you get the idea. JJ McCarthy is one of the most hated QBs in the NFL, and he hasn't even taken a snap. I'm not sure why the hatred exists for him. The cockiest thing he's ever done is smoke a cigar after winning the national championship.
