The Internet is Divided on Whether Colorado Edited a Practice Video To Make a Shedeur Sanders Pass Look Like It Was a Touchdown

I will admit when I first watched this video, I was ready to put Colorado on blast with the rest of the internet for posting the most clearly fake and edited video of all-time to make it look like Shedeur Sanders threw a dime for a touchdown instead of an incomplete pass down the sideline. I was so convinced it was fake that I had actually talked myself into CU doing it on purpose for engagement.

But now we have a second angle that has emerged and it seems like that may have really been the actual throw and catch.

After watching that and going back to the original video, it's definitely the same throw. Shedeur makes a pretty unique move in the pocket that confirms the validity of this Rocky Mountain Zapruder film. So while I'm sure there will still be some people who are unconvinced, I'm very confident the throw and catch in the original video did actually come from the same play.

But now that conclusion has twisted my mind into a pretzel and led me to the belief that posting the original video that way was still to get engagement, which is almost just as bad. There's no way someone ooked at the cut in that video and didn't know people were going to freak out. Maybe Dan Lanning was right.
