Anything For Sleep: Gold Medalist Thomas Ceccon Napped Outside In A Park Because It's More Comfortable Than His Olympic Village Room

You may know the name Thomas Ceccon for winning a gold medal or this complaint:

Fast forward a couple days and you'll see why he's sleeping in the park. The guy likes an afternoon nap. I'm not a nap guy personally, but I know people who live by naps. I don't get it as an adult. Just go to bed when you're tired and sleep. That's the correct way to live, naps can ruin a day if you ask me. Too long of a nap and you're fucked at night, too short of a nap and you're still cranky. Might just be how my kids operate, but I've seen adults do that too. I'm talking normal adults, not adults at the Olympics. Big difference there I should note.

I don't fully understand how this is more comfortable. Give me the cardboard bed over the grass. That just seems like you're waking up with a bad back. Can't have that as a swimmer, or a functioning adult. I refuse to believe it's more comfortable temperature wise unless there's a nice breeze, but can't you open a window there? Get a fan? Don't get me wrong, I'll die on the hill that A/C is the most important thing for a good night's sleep, but outside doesn't make sense.

Maybe I'm just an indoors guy outside of golf and a pool. I'm not made to be outside. There's bugs, I can get sunburnt, there's too many variables that I need to avoid. This is one way to prove a point though. I'm sure nothing will change, but hey, at least he got a good nap in there finally.
