1. Logan Lucky

This movie remains one of the great, underrated heist movies on the market right now. All-star cast, hilarious scenes and a really fun plot.

2. The Umbrella Academy S4

This series, adapted from a comic book series written by MCR frontman Gerard Way, has been a quietly pretty solid. It definitely a little repetitive as the seasons go on but I'm excited to see how they wrap it up.

3. Mr. Deeds

There is never a bad time to rewatch a Sandler classic.

1. Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Bears

I think this preseason Hard Knocks with the Giants has actually been one of my favorite things Hard Knocks has done in a while. Seeing this sort of look at a franchise in a more exciting position (no offense) is a little more interesting.

2. Industry S3

I don't think Industry is is for everyone but there seems to be a dedicated fanbase for financial thrillers that loves stuff like Billions and Succession that would love it.

3. City of God: The Fight Rages On

City of God, the movie is is based on, is arguably the greatest foreign language movie of all-time. That alone + HBO being involved earns my eyeballs.

Aug 1st: Beetlejuice, Brick Mansions, Grown Ups, How to Train Your Dragon, Pretty Woman, Taken, Sherlock Holmes

Aug 6th: Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Bears

Aug 11th: Industry S3

Aug 25th: City of God: The Fight Rages On

HULU

1. The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

This movie had no right being as good as it was. Really solid especially considering it had to establish an all new cast.

2. Only Murders in the Building S4

I fell off on this show after the first season but people really seem to like it still.

3. Kingdom Of Heaven

Not sure if it is the superior directors cut or not (I assume no) but I still have a huge soft spot for this movie. I spent many an hour watching this while playing ME2TW.

Aug 1st: The Beach, Casino, Drumline, Flubber, Fools Gold, The Full Monty, The Guardian, Horrible Bosses, IN Time, Kingdom of Heaven, Knocked Up, Marley and Me, Night At The Museum, Punch Drunk Love, Raising Arizona, Zero Dark Thirty

Aug 2nd: Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Aug 25th: The Courier

Aug 27th: Only Murders in the Building

PRIME VIDEO

1. LOTR: The Rings of Power

This series was solid outside of a coupe bum storylines (Harfoots, Bronwyn). Great soundtrack and production value plus an interesting ending to season 1. Can they zero in on what worked? We will find out. Amazon only has a billion dollars (literally) wrapped up in it.

2. Ronin

If you are a fan of Heat, or 90s action movies in general, you should check out Ronin. Cool plot, great action and car chases through the streets of Europe. Not much more to want out of life.

3. 21 Jump Street

This is one of those comedies that just plain holds up. I rewatched recently and the "You punched him because he's gay?" sequence still kills.

Aug 1st: Batman: Caped Crusader, 21 and 22 Jump Street, Adventureland, American Graffiti, Atomic Blonde, Born on the 4th of July, Dante's Peak, Eastern Promises, Face/Off, Fargo, Ghost, Looper, Once Upon a Time in the WEst, Psycho, Pulp Fiction, Ronin, Scarface, Showgirls, Superman 1-4, The Crow, The Day of the Jackal, The Hobbit Trilogy, The LOTR Trilogy, THe Losers, War of the Worlds, The Warriors, Three Days of the Condor, Traffic, Wind Talkers

Aug 13th: Night Swim

Aug 29th: LOTR The Rings of Power
