America's Enforcer: Anthony Edwards Is Sick And Tired Of The French Booing Joel Embiid For The No-Brainer Decision To Play For The USA

I'm by no means a Joel Embiid fan. He's a foul merchant, comes up short in the playoffs, crybaby. But that's 76ers Joel Embiid. We're talking Team USA Joel Embiid here, which means I will not have the French booing him for the no-brainer selection of playing for Team USA over them and Cameroon. But this is important. We need an enforcer on this team. There's too much nice stuff going on in basketball and we need a Charles Barkley 'I don't know about Angola, but I know they're in trouble' type player.

That's Anthony Edwards. Feels like the only options were him, Bam or Kevin Durant. KD will talk shit to anyone and everyone, that's a promise. Bam can be an enforcer when he wants to. But Ant is the next face of Team USA. He's going to be the guy that's on the next couple of Olympic teams assuming he wants to play.

Plus, Embiid (credit to him) had the perfect quote about this

'I'm an American, I play for Team USA.' ROCK, FLAG AND EAGLE BABY. That's the quote that we needed to see. He's no longer a mole, he's an American. He wants to win a gold medal for the red, white and blue (our version). I need us to play France at some point. I want to see a dunk contest line on Rudy's head. Wemby, he's cool. He's done nothing wrong, plus he's awesome. But give me these guys dunking on Rudy, embarrassing the French in front of their fans. Give me the boo's and give me the DX chops from Embiid and Ant.
