Kyrie Irving Teaching Some Kids Basketball Moves While On A Beach In Greece Is Further Proof That Ball Truly Is Life

You want to talk about a true Ball Is Life moment, well there you have it. I'm not sure it gets more Ball Is Life than that if we're being honest. I get that we're all supposed to hate on Kyrie Irving but I can't lie, ever since the Celts swept his Nets back in 2022 and then now that the Celts gentlemen swept his Mavs to win an NBA title, I'm mostly indifferent when it comes to Kyrie. Seeing him puke on himself in the Finals was enough for me, and while he'll always be Public Enemy #1 whenever he sets foot in the Garden, I'm pretty much over it at this point.

And even if you despise Kyrie with every fiber of your being, you still can't deny that this is pretty cool. It's been 30 years and I still remember to this day going through drills with David Wesley at the Worcester JCC Basketball camp, and that was David Wesley! I'm confident 99% of the people reading this blog have no idea who that even is, but the point is that these types of moments can last you a lifetime. Kyrie is famous and rich enough to go on vacation and just do his own thing, ensuring he's away from all of us normals. Instead, he's on the beach teaching triple threat moves. Even if you're someone who considers Kyrie to be largely an asshole, there's no denying his basketball talent

From a basketball standpoint, Kyrie is easily one of the most talented offensive players of his era. When he's healthy, his talent on the court is basketball poetry in motion. For these guys who are pure hoopers, stuff like this is just a way of life, sort of like how KD was practicing his jumper in the club earlier this summer

You think he became one of, if not the greatest scorers in NBA history by accident? I don't think so.

While the internet culture has pretty much melted all of our brains, this just goes to show you that it's not hard for everyone to just be normal. I imagine those kids didn't try and pull out some sort of flat earth joke/troll or whatever and in return Kyrie was just a normal person who loves to talk and teach basketball. What a concept!
