The Simone Biles Redemption Tour - Easily Win Gold, Then Immediately Destroys A Former Teammate Who Ran Her Mouth About Team USA

We know about the twisties from the last Olympics and the Simone Biles redemption tour. A lot of people started to run their mouths about Simone Biles and whether she still had it, whatever people wanted to say about her. Yesterday was a good reminder that we're watching dominance in gymnastics. The team competition wasn't even close, just an easy win for the USA.

I can't sit here and explain what makes them dominant. You think my old ass can do a flip in the air? I don't think so. All I know is they fly around in the air, stick landings and win gold. What I can break down is the Simone Biles redemption tour because it involves some shit talking. It starts with former teammate Mykayla Skinner, who said this:

Skinner was on the 2020 Tokyo team, obviously the one where Simone had twisties. Look, you can say whatever you want. You have the right to call people out if you think they don't work hard. Tough to do when Suni Lee is the reigning gold medal winner in All-Around though. Tough to stand by it when it's a deleted video. That's what makes this Instagram caption starting to pick up steam on social media:

It even got McKayla Maroney to make a comment!

Apologize for the name! McKayla Maroney alluded the fuck around and find out, which is from this:

While I do think fuck around and find out is becoming wildly overused, if you win gold, become the most-decorated gymnast, you can talk however you want. Kind of wish she stuck by it though:

That said, the way the broadcast and people talk about Simone Biles age it's a miracle she knows how to even post on Twitter. Everyone kept talking about how she's the oldest gymnast to win in decades and basically got out a retirement home for it. She's 27! She's barely over the age of being allowed to rent a car. Anyways, we still have the individual competition to go, but Team USA's revenge tour, specifically Simone Biles is complete. Mykayla Skinner was buried along with the rest of the world in that blowout.
