BOOOOOOO Caleb Williams And Other Bears Won't Play In The Hall Of Fame Game Vs The Texans

Well...this sucks. Not exactly surprising. Caleb had sort of leaked that it was possible in one of his media sessions and now it's official. I wanted to see Caleb take at least one series in this game. This is like when you get a new bike for Christmas, but you can't really ride it until the snow melts in the spring. It sucks. 

Probably the smart thing to do though. If you play Caleb then you need to play his blockers and skill guys and then you're just increasing the risk that someone gets hurt in a game that doesn't matter. Which then I guess you could argue...why have preseason games at all? Because if you don't want to risk them in this game, nothing really changes in 3 weeks from now. 

I just want the season to start. I am mentally ready for football. I wanted to see Caleb Williams in uniform. I guess if I've been waiting 30+ years to see a Bears franchise QB I can wait another month. Thank god Hard Knocks will give us enough of a taste to hold us over until week 1.
