Belal Muhammed Is A UFC Champion

I almost can't believe I'm typing this, but Belal Muhammed is officially a UFC champion. He went in there against Leon Edwards tonight (in enemy territory) and outwrestled him, outboxed him, outworked him cardio-wise, and dropped him directly on his head on his way to earning his very first world title. It wasn't the most entertaining fight, but it also wasn't the worst Belal fight I've ever seen; no disrespect meant to Belal when I say that (because I thought he was gonna get 50-45'd and he dominated tonight) but let's be honest, that just wasn't the best fight to cap off that card. Especially for the 6am local time live crowd.

Edwards kept it classy afterwards (and gave Belal something to remember him by when he busted up his nose at the end of the final round) but I wouldn't be surprised if we see these guys rematch before the end of the year. Oh, and Belal tried to double down on the "hands like Canelo" thing with Daniel Cormier post-fight - and while tonight's performance was tremendous, I still can't give that to him.
