Jim Harbaugh Doing Jim Harbaugh Things - Compares The First Day Of Training Camp To 'Coming Out Of The Womb And People Looking At You'

You know what? This is normal. This is Jim Harbaugh we're talking about here and more specifically Jim Harbaugh in year 1 of a new job. If he didn't compare the first day of training camp to coming out of the womb I would think the Chargers are cooked. You hire Jim Harbaugh to 1) win, 2) deliver quotes like this. They go hand-in-hand the more I think about it. Can't have Harbaugh out here just saying it's fun or good to put on helmets. No, I need the comparison to coming out of the womb for the first time, lights come on and everyone staring at you. 

Say what you want about the guy but all he does is have success. National championship at Michigan. Took the 49ers to a Super Bowl. Had Stanford going 12-1 in his last season there. Shit he went 11-1 at San Diego twice. You think I'm going to say he's not going to be successful with the Chargers? He's the one guy who is right to fix all the negative shit with the Chargers. The fact they are choke artists typically, they can't win when it matters, all those sort of lines. 

The only two shocking things here is 1) Harbaugh didn't throw a helmet on for day 1 and 2) he didn't talk about his own birth. Harbaugh seems like a guy who would talk about how he remembers being born and being in the womb. All I know is thank God we're getting stories like this. I'm a big person of trying to enjoy summer and not look forward, but it's football time. We need it back on our TV here.
