Conor McGregor Goes Off On "Pissbag" Jake Paul And Tells Mike Perry He's Fired From BKFC After Last Night's Fight

Last night, Jake Paul laid waste another victim in "Platinum" Mike Perry - former UFC fighter turned Bare Knuckler - by knocking him out in the 6th Round of their main event fight. Marty blogged about it here.

I'll be honest, I didn't watch the fight myself, but I've both seen the highlights and heard good things about how Paul looked in the ring; and I think a win over Mike Perry is pretty respectable despite the huge weight difference between them. I know, I know - he lost the only time he's ever been in the ring with a boxer his size (Tommy Fury) but still, he's definitely improving each and every time he makes the walk and Perry is a tough son of a bitch.

I think Conor McGregor was sorta supporting Mike Perry going into this bout, being he provided his walkout music (along with his new clients, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony) because "The Notorious" is now a part owner of BKFC, the promotion Perry is the face of. I don't think he was too pleased with his performance, though, based on this tweet he sent post-fight....

Giphy Images.

It probably wasn't just the performance that pissed Conor off - I'd guess it has more to do with the fact that Perry announced his own promotion (that will be a competitor for BKFC) earlier this week, Dirty Boxing Championships….

(I'm not gonna lie, that ruleset sounds kinda awesome)

I don't know if he actually has the power to fire Perry, but I think he probably has the pull to convince BKFC to do so anyway. So that may be it for "Platinum" Mike Perry and BKFC! What a run he had….

McGregor then went off on Jake Paul, who he called "the biggest pissbag [he's] ever seen in [his] life" before throwing around some hefty steroid allegations - which sorta surprised me….

Jake Paul has been taunting Conor McGregor online for years, and claims that's his ultimate dream fight….but McGregor has been pretty consistent in not feeding the troll. He never responded to the knocked out McGregor chain Paul had made (and then broke the foot off of, and sent to Dustin Poirier), or any of the bad stuff he's said about Dee Devlin, and I've even been at UFC press conferences where they have made sure there would be no Jake Paul questions when McGregor was there. He just didn't want to give Jake the time of day….but now he's writing paragraphs on Twitter to bury him six feet deep?!

Dave has been telling me that Conor McGregor vs Jake Paul would absolutely happen at some point for as long as Jake has been knocking MMA fighters out, and I always said never in a million lifetimes - but I think I might take that back now. I'd still lean towards no, but I wouldn't rule out these guys fighting in a few years when Conor's UFC career is in the rear view….and I don't know how to feel about that.

You know what fight definitely won't happen, though? Jake Paul vs Alex Pereira….

Ain't no way Dana White and the UFC would co-promote with Paul, despite Pereira being able to whoop his ass. I guess Jake knows what he's doing with these outlandish callouts, though. He's got us talking. Pereira hitting him with a Facetime while he was still in the ring was pretty funny, too….
