Golf Guy: Tyrrell Hatton Hits A Bad Shot On 11, Carries His Own Bag On The 12th Hole Because He Didn't 'Deserve' To Have Someone Carry His Stuff

This is one of those times I still wish Tyrrell Hatton was on the PGA Tour. You need a lunatic and Hatton is just that. We know he's short-tempered, he can freak out with the best of them and he doesn't care about time or place.

Now I know what everyone is thinking. Big deal about carrying your own bag. Sure. But no one else is carrying their own shit as a form of punishment at The Open. Not unless Dan Campbell or a true football guy somehow qualifies. That's the beauty of being a pro golfer (or playing nice courses). You walk, hit, focus on the game. Your caddie carries everything for you. Carrying a bag sucks. Easily the worst part about golfing as a kid was not being old enough to drive a cart and having to lug around a bag that was too big for you.

I get it though. Hatton is having an awful round. As I blog this he's about to move to +6. You gotta do something to mix it up, maybe in his weird mind it's carrying his own bag. Should maybe just let his caddie hit a celebrity shot for him. Who cares if it's a DQ? The way Troon is playing, I say they should let the caddie do it once just to switch up the vibes.
