Barstool has it's history with Grant Cardone....thanks mostly to The Yak.

The entire "10x! 10x!" bit The Yak does goes back to Grant Cardone's hit book....The 10x Rule.

Since that book, Cardone has continued his dominance in the self help/real estate/finance space. He hosts various events ranging from "MINDSET" to "Real Estate Live Training." The biggest event each year is the 10X Growth Conference that goes down in Vegas each year. Tickets range from $997 to $20,000.

The 10x lifestyle is not cheap and requires risk. Including sometimes taking out not one, but two loans to attend a conference where Grant is speaking. That's what this fella did:

After sleeping in his car after night one, he finally got to ask Grant how to 10x his mindset…..what happened next was the entire 10x community coming together.

Grant, of course, found a way to teach the crowd a valuable lesson….when he gives someone attention…good things happen:

Unfortunately, Twitter did not perceive this as a heartwarming moment, instead, it received comparisons to a cult:

There's nothing like a good Dave Ramsey joke. Always makes me laugh.

The hustle/grindset culture of this world will always be around. Self-help has always been a huge genre, but the "wake up and grind" Instagram pages from the early 2010s have evolved into what we just watched. Grant Cardone, and others, are taking advantage of this market. Are they scamming people? That's up to your interpretation. These events, without a doubt, do provide "value." I'm sure there are various "success" stories that people credit to Cardone.

All that being said, taking out a loan is crazy behavior. We see the tweets above and think people are starting to wake up to the nonsense aspects of these conferences, but then you go on TikTok and see comments like this:
