Incredible Level Of Hate - Scottish People Went Nuts During A Calvin Harris Concert When He Announced Spain Scored Against England

Obviously there's a lot of history between England and Scotland. But this? This is the sort of hate I love to see. There's something that just warms you on the inside when you see the team you hate lose. It's a step below, but close, to seeing your team win. That's the sort of hate we need to keep on having in sports. No more 'ah well, what else could we do?' No, I want to see celebrations in the streets when your rival loses. It's okay to cheer against teams. In fact it should be encouraged more.

But this? This is just awesome to see. Calvin Harris dropping the score, Spanish flags, the place going crazier for the score than whatever song Calvin Harris was playing. That's the sort of fandom that America needs. We want to be better at soccer it starts with doing this when England loses or Mexico or Canada lose. It's time to embrace the hate in sports and cheer against rivals.

Yeah, yeah, England can say Scotland will never make it that far. But it still didn't come home. That's what Scotland will celebrate the moment they couldn't get out of the group. It becomes a full on hate toward England. It's time we get back to our roots as Americans. Duke basketball loses this year? We celebrate. The Cowboys choke again? We celebrate. The Yankees trip in left field or bobble at short again? I will host a party.
