A Proper Celebration - Robert MacIntyre Planned To Party So Hard After Winning The Scottish Open That He Can't Drive To A 3pm Press Conference Today

Hell yeah, Bobby Mac! This is exactly how you should be thinking after winning your country's Open. I know it's not The Open, but the Scottish Open is what MacIntyre wanted. You don't pack it in, have a couple beers (pints, if you will) and then start practicing for The Open. No, you plan on getting so fucked up that you can't legally drive to a 3pm press conference today. You skip practice rounds, maybe just go hit up some good times with the fellas on the course and go try and make the cut. I know it's a major, but you're coming off your own country's Open, you can't feel that bad about missing the cut. 

I would LOVE to be part of this celebration. You give me Lowry winning The Open when he did or someone like this winning their own country, you're in for a good time. That's the type of celebration I want to see. You know they sung some old school European jams and then closed it down with Mr. Brightside. Just pint after pint after pint. Guys being dudes type night if you ask me. 

I love the whole idea here that he needs to catch a drive to a 3pm press conference today. He should come in carrying a case of beer, disheveled and be like 'hey, I'm here. I can't get fined, what else did you expect?' Still a ridiculous putt.
