The Jaylen Brown/Team USA drama has owned the sports headlines these last few days for obvious reasons, but last night at the ESPY's we were reminded that even despite the snub, Jaylen Brown is very clearly still winning at the game of life.

NBA Champion, supermax player, ECF and Finals MVP, and a guy who showed up to an award show yesterday with the ultimate flex

There were rumblings about Jaylen and Kysre Gondrezick given she was at the parade and on his duck boat, and it's not hard to see why

not to mention Jaylen also walked away with the ESPY for Best Championship performance

which in my completely biased opinion was absolutely well deserved and a no brainer decision

And as someone who has watched every dribble of Jaylen's career and seen what he has worked his ass off to become as a player and a champion, I couldn't be happier for him. While Nike/Team USA may have their heads up their asses, the rest of the basketball world is finally coming around to what most Celtics fans have known for years.

Jaylen is that guy.

Finally, he's getting the national love he has earned, even if some of it comes as a way to chop down fellow NBA Champion Jayson Tatum, but that's mostly just from very hurt and upset opposing fanbases because the Jays finally got it done and looked poised to be a problem for the foreseeable future while their favorite team/players are stuck in the gutter.

So yeah, I'm sure there was a part of Jaylen that was annoyed with the Team USA snub, but at the end of the day it looks like he's managing just fine.
