An Entire Stadium Is Being Built In The Philippines With Hopes That Taylor Swift Will One Day Perform There

If I know anything, it's that Taylor Swift's fanbase in the Philippines is MASSIVE. I'm not sure how it happened, but we of course welcome all of our Filipino Swifties with open arms. During the Eras Tour, there have been tons of pleas for Taylor to perform over there. The problem? They've never had a stadium big enough. It would be total chaos trying to attend (and probably unsafe), even for the residents of the country alone. So, what did they do? Immediately draw up a plan to build a stadium so big that even Taylor could perform there.

Set to be completed by 2028, I'm just going to stay optimistic for these guys. Sure, it'll be 4 years after the Eras Tour is over. Maybe she won't even go on tour again! Somehow, I have a feeling she'll make a special trip for these fine people. Bring in the diamond stage, fire up the flamethrowers for Reputation, get that Folkmore cabin built. They'll be waiting patiently no matter what happens.

Can you imagine being so famous, so beloved, that an entire country is building an entire stadium just for the CHANCE of you coming to perform for them? Of course they've seen what the tour itself has done for the economy in every city she attends - whether it's local restaurants, bars, shops, or even the charities that Taylor donates to every time she's in a new place, the impact clearly creates a difference. I'd say that's reason enough to make this new structure a priority. Not only do they have the possibility of a future Taylor show, but it sounds like the Filipinos are sick and tired of getting slighted by other huge artists, just because they didn't have a house big enough for them to bring down. I predict lots of big names finding themselves in the Philippines after 2028, and I look forward to seeing just how musically inclined this country really is.

LET THE PHILIPPINES SING!!!!!!!
