Grant Hill Immediately Shut Down Gus Johnson And Made It Very Clear He Had NOTHING To Do With Caitlin Clark Being Left Off The Olympic Roster

So Grant Hill is now the managing director for Team USA - and as he specifically states that's just the men's team. So naturally Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery (king) had him on to talk about the team during last night's game. 

That's when Gus decided to go rogue. Everyone knows that Caitlin Clark was left off the Olympic roster. Let me be more clear - Caitlin Clark was robbed of an Olympic spot.

I do love how quick he shut it down. Grant Hill wants nothing to do with the debate. I don't blame him. He's not tied to it, the last thing he wants is some soundbite going viral agreeing with the decision or something. Kinda bullshit by Gus and I say this as a Gus guy. He's gotta know Grant Hill is only on the men's side, you can't put him on the spot late night in Vegas! That's asking for a problem. Also can't be throwing in Angel Reese quickly like that too. The debate has been Caitlin Clark, maybe Gus is just part of the click game though. He gets that part of it, even though Caitlin Clark should be on the roster. We're going to dominate no matter what, give fans the biggest show. 

Quick shout out to Raft though. There's no bigger Bill Raftery on this planet than me. Not his wife, not his kids, it's me. I love that man and he's my number 1 pick for guy to get a drink with, guy to play a round of golf with, whatever. Raft is my answer. Getting surprise Raft in July is something we need more of. They should let him pick some basketball event, not say anything and then show up and hit us with man-to-man and little lingerie on the deck.
