Fall Out From The Brawl: New Video Of Darwin Nunez Trying To Attack Colombia Fans With A Chair, Uruguay Players Blast Copa America For Not Protecting Their Families

In case you missed this last night, we had a Malice at the Palace style brawl at the end of Uruguay/Colombia in Charlotte. Darwin Nunez led the way into the stands to start brawling with Colombia fans:

We got a new video of Nunez bringing a steel chair to the fight to start:

Not sure what the end game was but I respect the move. If you're going to fight a group, you gotta bring a weapon with you. Watch wrestling one time for me, folks. Everyone knows a steel chair clears out the ring. But why I respect it even more? We found out that Uruguay players went into the stands to protect their families. In fact they didn't just stop there, they blasted Copa America for not protecting their families:

Based on their reactions and how they are talking, I think it's true. So with that said, Nunez shouldn't face any suspension. In fact he should be applauded. If someone is in the stands attacking your family, you have every right to go in there with a steel chair. It is a joke that security wasn't around. How do you not protect players family in this sort of situation? It was a wild environment all night, you gotta keep people around the family just to be safe. If not, well, you get this.

It's that simple. Do your investigation and if Copa America, CONMEBOL, FIFA, whoever find out that they were protecting their families write a letter of apology and don't suspend anyone.
