[Source] - This sparked an incredible, impassioned rant from Spalletti – a man known for wearing his heart on his sleeve and unable to hold his tongue when he feels he has been betrayed – and accusations of a mole in the squad.

Spalletti, 65, hit back at the journalist: “There is obviously someone in the team who is passing on the information and that person is damaging the team.

“You have been told that, you haven’t interpreted that. Don’t claim this is your poetic license.

I love a good mole accusation. Remember, Italy got a goal at the death yesterday to survive and advance to the knockout stage at the Euros.

Can't be having that and a mole at the same time. You don't break out a new lineup, change things up and have the press figure it out before. We've all seen this story before. Can't trust the press, especially when you're talking about Italian soccer. Basically a crime to the highest order over there if you hurt the Italian national team. But really this just goes to show you that you never know what to expect at Euros. Sure, Italy has been whatever so far, even lackluster. But now we have a mole talk.

I need the next few days for everything to go public and Spalletti to name who he thinks is the mole. Make it like the old TV show, something they need to bring back. The Mole was great TV. I know they had the Netflix season a couple years ago, but we need more of it. That's quality reality TV right there.

All I know is whoever is leaking information is going to be found. You can't be a mole and get away with it in sports. It never works out. Just gotta hope it's after the Euros so you can pretend to celebrate with the team still.
