Taylor Swift Has Responded To Dave Grohl Insinuating She Doesn't Perform Live In Concert By Taking The High Road Like The Class Act That She Is

Daily Mail - Taylor Swift has hit back at Dave Grohl at her sold out Wembley show tonight after the Foo Fighters singer suggested that she didn't play live.

The queen of pop made a point of introducing her band that were playing 'live' for the full three and a half hour setlist.

Swift told her audience: 'What you just did is an unforgettable moment in not just my life, but every very single one of our crew. The band that's going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight.

'They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We'll never forget it.'

On Saturday night, Grohl blasted Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, suggesting Swift doesn't sing live, while on stage in London last night. He took a swipe at Swift, dubbing her sell out tour the 'errors' tour while quipping that his band 'actually play live'.

While performing at the London Stadium, he referred to Swift as she was playing the same night on the other side of the capital in Wembley - to boos from some fans.

He addressed the crowd: 'We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she's on her 'errors' tour.

'I tell you man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.

'So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour.

'We've had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple.'

The band leader clarified: 'That's because we actually play live. What?'

To great cheers, he continued: 'Just saying. You guys like raw live rock 'n' roll music right?

'You came to the right f***ing place!'

Grohl and Swift have previously been on good terms, with the former praising the latter's decision to re-record her albums, reclaiming her back catalog.

I blogged about this earlier today and said I think Dave Grohl must have slipped and bumped his head for him to think stirring the Taylor Swift hornets nest up was a good idea.

They just finished vanquishing Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West. Two of the biggest celebrities in the world. She dug in, stood her ground, and let time do what it always does: expose the truth and show people's true colors. She's looking down on them and laughing now. Literally -

Same with that clown show Scooter Braun -

So effectively, she is within all her rightful and understandable means to fucking eviscerate Dave Grohl as we know it.

As that random kid told Q after he dropped Bishop from that rooftop in Juice- "(She's) got the juice now man."

So, for her to take the high road here last night shows nothing but class. Remember one of the famous quotes in the history of humans? " But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well."? Jesus. Ever heard of him? (shout out Matthew 5:38)

Class and maturity. It takes both to let somebody slam you publicly and to not retaliate. Not only not retaliate. But to once again heap praise on the people who unjustly caught ricochet shots by Grohl's comments. Her band who works their asses off night in and night out. For Taylor to credit them, drum up a roar of applause, and efficaciously take the spotlight off herself and shine it on them is both a check mate chess move as well as just another reason why everybody in the music business and live music business wants to and would kill to work for Taylor Swift.
