Taylor Swift Has Saved Prince William's Entire Reputation With One Happy Birthday Selfie

Can you feel that? The slight rumblings under your feet? A seismic energy in the air? That's Prince William finally doing something right for his family, and the perception the public has of them. William, George and Charlotte went to Taylor's first London show on Friday night, which also happened to be William's birthday, and we finally have this selfie to prove it.

This is massive for a number of reasons - one, Travis is in the selfie. This is officially the first time Taylor is posting her own photo (on Twitter AND Instagram) with Travis casually in it. Two, the Royal Family technically isn't allowed to take or post selfies. It's the weirdest rule they've ever had, and it was mentioned often during the discourse surrounding the rumors about their mother Kate a few months back. People were clamoring, "why can't she just take a video on her phone?" Well, because she wasn't allowed! Everyone has always thought it was a dumb ass boomer rule that caused more trouble than anything in a world as modern as this. Everyone on Earth takes selfies. No one would judge the Royal Family for doing the same, and in fact, it made them even weirder for NOT taking any. It looks like the shackles are finally off, thanks to Taylor Swift.

Not only is she posting the selfie with the crew, biggest smiles I've ever seen (truly, they all look like they had a wonderful night) - the officially palace accounts are posting the behind the scenes photo!

Taylor has assisted her long time friend Prince William in what I like to call, a total social rebirth. This selfie with his children and her birthday wishes not only make him cool again, but showcase their ACTUAL happiness while proving they can be fun, too. They're at a concert for christ's sake! Do losers take their kids to concerts?? No way!! WINNERS DO! KINGS DO! Kings know Taylor Swift! Kings break royal protocol and take a selfie for the first time in history for Taylor Swift!

I'm really happy for William on this one. The whole family has been going through a lot and it seems like he's finally starting to live his life despite the fact he'll be King soon. He's really trying to....shake it off.
