Wide Receiver Adam Thielen Reminisces On What Went Through His Mind After The Minneapolis Miracle

On today's Pardon My Take... ADAM THIELEN! The Carolina Panthers Wide Receiver joined the show to talk about his golf game, the past season with the Panthers, Kirk Cousins, and more.

Thielen just completed his first season in Carolina, but before that, he was a longtime member of the Minnesota Vikings. And during his successful tenure there, he was a big part on that 2017 team that went all the way to the NFC Championship Game.

But the most notable game from that season? The Divisional Round against the New Orleans Saints. It was one of the craziest endings to a playoff game that we have ever seen: the Minneapolis Miracle...

We all remember where we were during this incredible ending. At this point, it seemed like the Vikings were a team of destiny. To win this game in this fashion at home, and move to just one victory away from HOSTING a Super Bowl, the stars were aligning. The Philadelphia Eagles obviously crushed those dreams (Congrats, Max!), but this was a game that Thielen obviously remembers very well.

On today's PMT, Thielen discussed how he was just going around the locker room after the Minneapolis Miracle and hugging EVERYONE in sight. He had no idea who was a member of the team and who wasn't, but after that type of finish happens, how are you not in the happiest mood that you've ever been in?

Very cool.
