Pretty Jealous That Eva Murati Had A Front Row Seat To Croatia/Albania - Easily The Most Entertaining Match At The Euros So Far
I know there are still people out there who like to make fun of soccer for the same lame cliches. Not enough scoring, flopping, it's not football. Whatever, at this point you're on the outside. This match proved it. Croatia/Albania was AWESOME, especially in the 2nd half. You had dumb defenders, own goals, a couple goals in a couple minutes and then saving your tournament in stoppage time.
Yeah, it ended in a tie. Go ahead and get those jokes off too. But ties matter in tournament soccer, especially at the Euros when 3rd place teams can advance. A loss here basically ends one of their runs without a ton of help. The Euros are unreal, no other way to describe it too. You have a ton of talent, but it's everything going on in the stands too. Every game is a sell out, every match is loud as hell. Everyone travels and will snap spaghetti in the faces of Italian fans.
So yeah it's a bucket list type thing to see. That's why I'm jealous that Eva Murati had a front row seat to it all.
I know that picture is from the Italy match, her story has one of her front row. Just roll with it, deal? Not to mention this is just Albania's second Euro ever. They made it in 2016 and didn't get out of the group stage. You get to watch this sort of match in person and you're having a damn good time. Oh and it's also the perfect TV setup during the week. Matches at 9/12/3 Eastern Time and we have sports on all day.
So congrats to Albania, congrats to Eva Murati, they go to the final group stage match with something to play for.
