If There's A New Pandemic, Blame Chris Kreider For Launching Matthew Tkachuk's Mouthpiece Into The Crowd

When you're as much of a pest as Matthew Tkachuk is out on the ice, your opponents start to hate every little detail about you. The way you play, the way you skate, the way you talk, and the way you just chomp on your mouthpiece the whole game.

Steph Curry. Patrick Kane. Both Tkachuk brothers. Just a bunch of guys who never learned how to properly wear a mouthguard. And they're all killers. It's one of those things where you don't know if you'd even recognize it if you weren't so busy getting your ass kicked by them. But the more that ass gets kicked, the more prominent the mouthguard chew seems to get. It's enough to drive some people crazy.

Chris Kreider had enough. He couldn't take it anymore. So he ripped that mouthpiece right out of Tkachuk's mouth and launched it into the crowd. The only issue here is that this game was in Florida. And if I know the fine folk of Florida like I think I do, then there's a strong chance that whoever ended up with Tkachuk's mouthpiece ended up at least trying it on for size. Probably used it as a spoon to start scooping their nachos. Gross.

The only thing more disgusting than that was the puck movement on the Panthers' game winner in OT. Nasty, nasty work by Florida's PP here.

Definition of tic-tac-toe. 3 straight overtimes for the Panthers and New York. This series rules so hard.
