Anthony Edwards Deserves All The Credit In The World For Agreeing To Be Mic'd Up During A Game 7 On The Road

On today's Pardon My Take... BRIAN WINDHORST! The NBA reporter for ESPN joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to talk NBA Conference Finals, a brand new way to scout players, ranking the best third option on each team, and more.

One of the biggest storylines involving the four teams remaining in the NBA Playoffs involves the breakout season by Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Georgia product has taken his team to places it hasn't been in a very long time. In fact, prior to this season, the T-Wolves hadn't won a playoff series since 2004. Anthony Edwards was just two (2) years old at that time.

Anyways, back to today's episode, Windhorst highlighted the fact that Anthony Edwards agreed to be mic'd up for Sunday night's Game 7 on the road agains the defending champion Denver Nuggets. Hear the crew talk about this below...

It sounds strange at first, but the more I think about it, Windhorst is absolutely right. You never see players mic'd up in games with very high stakes. You'll see a lot of preseason or early season games, but a G7 on the road?! Props to Anthony Edwards. Very cool.
