Celtics Co-Owner Robert Hale Gifts Entire UMass Dartmouth Class Of 2024 $1000 Cash Each At Graduation

And you get a thousand dollars! And you get a thousand dollars! And you get a thousand dollars! Everyone gets $1000!!! God what I would've done to have Robert Hale at my 2011 graduation ceremony. One thousand dollars back then was basically one million. I remember begging my mom to transfer $40 into my Bank of America campus edge checking account every week so I could get afford to eat. (I spent it on weed). Different times! 

Apparently this is the second time Mr. Hale has done this. Here's a video of him doing the same thing last year...

I will say though...there is a ZERO percent chance any one of the students give away the second $500 like he asked. It's almost laughable for him to even think that's a possibility. They're graduating into a world where a box of Cheerios costs ten bucks. Let them keep the thousand, babe. Half of them probably already texted their guy. Kidding! College students don't do drugs. 

Anywho, in all seriousness this is an awesome gesture by Mr. Hale and it's even cooler that he gave them actual cash. Shout to to him and shout out to all the seniors graduating this year. Best of luck in the real world. You're gonna need it!
