Paddy The Baddy Is BACK With A Chance To Break Into The Rankings At UFC 304 In Manchester

BOOOOM!!! Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett is BACK at UFC 304 in Manchester at the end of July! And he's got a chance to break into the Lightweight rankings when he takes on #15 in the world: Bobby "King" Green.

Not only that - but we've got confirmed main/co-main events from Dana White today: Leon Edwards will defend his welterweight championship against Belal Muhammed in the headliner, and Tom Aspinall will defend his interim heavyweight championship against Curtis Blaydes right before that. Oddly, both are rematches of fights abruptly stopped due to injury/eye poke; but both should have the crowd nice and lively (despite this card ending at like 6am over there). Especially Tom who is from Manchester specifically.

This Paddy the Baddy/Bobby Green fight has been brewing for a WHILE, though, and after Green called him out at UFC 300....

....it seemed pretty obvious that this was the fight to make.

Renato Moicano was another option briefly considered by everyone, but he's already ranked #10 and that would probably be too big a jump up to give Pimblett right now. I really love the Green fight anyway - it's the perfect test for Paddy right now. They match up well, Green is gonna bring the fight to Paddy, and they're definitely going to build the fight well. Green has never been afraid to engage in some trash talk (even mid-fight), and obviously neither is Paddy.

Meatball Molly is also rumored to be on this card, which would be a no-brainer, and awesome....

They haven't fought on the same card since the initial post-COVID UFC London card, where Molly nailed that spinning elbow that shot her into superstardom! The people need Paddy/Molly pressers back. Paddy scarfing down food, Molly impressively drunk just minutes after leaving the octagon….they're the best.
