Just 12 Hours After The Browns Schedule Was Released, The Browns Season Record Answer Key Is Now Available Too

So I already blogged about the Browns schedule release and how Pete Weber deserves an Academy Award for his performance, but in a few days, all of the shine from these social media videos will fade away, and the only thing left will be the games to play. Let me say this before I begin: I could not possibly be more excited for Cleveland Browns football this season. I was sitting in the Gambling Cave yesterday with Jersey Jerry and Nicky Smokes, and they asked for my honest opinion on the Browns. I gave them my honest opinion.....Top 3 team in the league and a legit chance to win the Super Bowl.

I'll admit that it sucks that we play in hands down the toughest division in football, where you could close your eyes right now and imagine all 4 of them in the playoffs, but the fact of the matter is that this is OUR YEAR. If we can stay healthy, which is a huge IF in Cleveland these days, this is the year where our Coaching, Front Office, Skill Positions, Line, and Defense are all....elite? And I don't even have to use hyperbole with them. They truly are a Top 3 team in the NFL. So without further adieu, and you can all bookmark this, here is the 2024 Browns Schedule ANSWER KEY (and I took this serious, no bias at all):

Week 1: Cowboys

Win. In Cleveland, nationally televised game, home crowd with plenty of time to get hydrated in the Muni Lot. People are saying the Browns got a tough opener, but I personally love that we get one of the premier teams on our schedule out of the way in a game where wouldn't be losing to ANYBODY. In fact, I wish we could get Lamar and the Ravens in town this week, if we could. Get that big AFC North win out of the way.

Week 2: @ Jaguars

Win. I don't like that the Jags will probably be 0-1 coming back from Miami, getting ready to play in front of their home fans. But the fact of the matter is we have the better Coach, the better QB, and the best roster as a whole.

Week 3: Giants

Win. Probably the easiest game on the entire schedule. Won't waste 10 words on this one, and I hope Stefanski treats it as a Bye to work on a few new wrinkles for the post-season.

Week 4: @ Raiders

Win. Nervous that Jeff D. Lowe is confirmed attending, when he hasn't seen a Browns win in person, but the Raiders are supposed to be one of the worst teams in the entire league this year.

Week 5: @ Commanders

Win. One of the lowest win totals in the NFL, paired with a rookie QB, playing against an undefeated Browns team. Easy one.

Week 6: @ Eagles

Loss. Can you flex this game to Tuesday night to stand by itself? There's a very, very good chance that both teams are undefeated heading into this one, and I'll admit that I don't love that we have to go to Philly for it. Could go either way for that reason. I'll give them this toss-up to show I'm being fair.

Week 7: Bengals

Win. Joe Burrow can't beat the Browns.

Week 8: Ravens

Win. Biggest game of the year. This game will determine the course of the postseason. If we beat the Ravens at home, like we should, then we are going to win the AFC North, host a playoff game, and will have a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl. A loss and I'm afraid we're in a similar spot as to last year, hopefully just a little more healthy when we make the playoffs.

Week 9: Chargers

Win. 3 straight home games, so our boys will be very well rested and comfortable. I hope we treat this one as a big game heading into the Bye, instead of looking ahead to the Bye Week.

Week 10: BYE

Week 11: @ Saints

Win. If I go to an away game this year, I think this needs to be the one. Browns fans seem pretty excited to get down to Louisiana, and I'm predicting a 50/50 crowd based on what I've seen on Twitter.

Week 12: Steelers (Thursday Night)

Win. I think me and Jersey Jerry might go to this one. He's never been to the Muni Lot before, and it will be rocking on Thursday night with the Steelers coming to town.

Week 13: @ Broncos (Monday Night)

Win. I'm so pumped for this game. All eyes on the Browns, against the worst team in football. Afraid they flex this to Saturday at 9 am though if the Browns are 11-0 and the Broncos are 0-11.

Week 14: @ Steelers

Win. Kinda weird that we play the same team twice in three weeks, especially with the fact that we don't even play an AFC North game until Week 7, but we'll play the games in the order Goodell wants them. Good news here is that I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing Justin Fields by this time, as the Steelers are going to be horrible this year.

Week 15: Chiefs

Loss. I will hand it to them, they are the 2x defending Super Bowl champions. But the Chiefs are getting a little older, and the Browns are officially in their prime. This could be a passing of the torch game, or perhaps even better, we give the Chiefs confidence in this one to come back and beat them in the AFC Championship.

Week 16: @ Bengals

Win. Joe Burrow can't beat the Browns.

Week 17: Dolphins (Sunday Night)

Win. Love the schedule-makers for this one. Sending us to Miami would've been a toss-up, sending Miami to us early in the year might've been a close game, but sending Miami to Cleveland at the end of December is an eaaaaaaasyyyyy win. On Sunday night, too. I can't wait to sit next to Nicky Smokes for this one. I hope they fly in Frank the Tank too.

Week 18: @ Ravens

Loss. The uncertainty here doesn't come from anything that the Ravens have, rather the question of if the Browns are sitting their starters or not. If we need a win, we'll win. If we don't need a win, which clearly I don't think we will, they can have this one.

Final Regular Season Record: 14 wins, 3 losses.

Bookmark it. Disappointed the Browns social media team didn't include the postseason dates on the schedule, too….
