This Portal That Connects New York City And Dublin Via A Live Feed Is The Coolest Thing Ever

This has been going viral over the last few days and besides it being kinda creepy because of the Black Mirror aspect, it may genuinely be the coolest thing ever. People always wonder what life in a different country would be like, the cultural shifts, how your day to day activities would change, the types of people you'd encounter, etc. Well, if you've ever wondered that, then let the portal tell you that maybe some cultures aren't so different after all:

If the worst we're gonna get is people mooning each other, then I say keep this thing around for the long haul. Apparently it's meant to "bring the world together" and I think you can argue the video above is doing just that. I'd pay a pretty penny to activate audio on this thing and just let some random drunk Irish guy at 2 am go at some New Yorker who is just coming home from work due to the time change. I'm not sure why they decided to make it Dublin and New York, but imagine the possibilities with this thing? Think about some absolute chaos portal scenarios that we could get. I won't list any of them, but just think of a couple cities that hate each other and we could get content for YEARS.

But if I know anything about humanity, this thing will be shut down in a week because somehow people will take it too far, and living in a hellhole like NYC, my money would be on it being on this side rather than Dublin. Now you're in New Yooooorrrrrrkkkkk!

P.S. This would sorta be a good start to some shitty romantic sitcom that would have an oldhead like Klemmer saying it's an all-time movie:
