High Speed Cameras Record Four UFOs Over Utah's Legendary Skinwalker Ranch

This clip is from a History Channel show about Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. By way of background, I offer you the greatest source of information available to bloggers too lazy to look up actually reliable, verifiable sources, Wikipedia:

Skinwalker Ranch, also known as Sherman Ranch, is a property of approximately 512 acres (207 ha), located southeast of Ballard, Utah, that is reputed to be the site of paranormal and UFO-related activities. Its name is taken from the skin-walker of Navajo legend concerning vengeful shamans.

UFO reports in the Uintah Basin were publicized in the 1970s.Claims about the ranch first appeared in 1996 in the Salt Lake City, Utah, Deseret News, and later in the alternative weekly Las Vegas Mercury as a series of articles by investigative journalist George Knapp. ...

According to Kelleher and Knapp, they saw or investigated evidence of close to 100 incidents that include vanishing and mutilated cattle, sightings of unidentified flying objects or orbs, large animals with piercing red eyes that they say were unscathed when struck by bullets, and invisible objects emitting destructive magnetic fields.  ...

Skeptical author Robert Sheaffer believes the phenomenon at Skinwalker to be "almost certainly illusory", given that NIDsci found no proof after several years of monitoring, and that the previous owners of the property, who had lived there for 60 years, say that no supernatural events of any kind had happened there.

Doubts and skepticism aside, there is a recorded history of high strangeness in this area. Back in 1776, the Dominguez-Escalante Expedition, led by its two eponymous Mexican priests, observed flying "fireballs" in the skies above. And since the good Fathers were about 100,000 years too late to have discovered natural, celestial occurrences like meteors or comets and a couple of hundred years too early to gain social media clout by making these things up, it's safe to say they were telling the truth and saw what they saw.

For the purposes of this discussion though, go to the 6:30 mark of that video. Here's a description of what you'll find:

Source - A high-speed camera has captured the chilling moment four UFOs were spotted above the 'cursed' Skinwalker Ranch in northeastern Utah.

Never-before-seen footage has exposed a possible 'portal' on the haunted ranch, where the team has witnessed a mutilated cow who died under mysterious circumstances.

The video, released by The History Channel in a new episode of 'The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch,' features a team of scientists investigating the 512-acre ranch, long known for its paranormal and UFO-related activities.

Among the eerie sightings, the team observed what appeared to be a possible portal on the ranch.

During the investigation, Erik and Travis, two scientists on the team, were amazed as they observed four UFO's on the high-speed camera.

'Now, one of the things that stands out - Look, there's something,' Erik, a scientist on the team said. 'It looks like there's something under it. Moving with it.'

Travis, another scientist, chimed in: 'And then what's this thing at the bottom coming up?'

'You see what's happening here? Yeah, you got three things on the camera … Four things! There's one over here,' Erik added.

The four unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), were described as rectangular with dark tops and light bottoms, moving swiftly and independently of each other - defying typical aircraft movements. …

'I don't see anything like wings flapping around at all. And it's not moving like an aircraft but something but much faster.' …

This discovery adds to the mystique surrounding Skinwalker Ranch, where past events have included encounters with mutilated cattle and other unexplained phenomena. …

Rancher Terry Sherman … found several heads of his cattle mutilated after purchasing the land in 1996.

Additionally, Sherman …  a wolf-like creature three times the size of a normal wolf.

Another researcher saw an bizarre creature with piercing yellow eyes surveilling him from a tree, among other mysterious instances.

So let's see, that's Flying Fireballs, Cattle Mutilations, Giant Wolves, Bizarre Yellow-Eyed Creatures, and now Rectangle UFOs. We don't even need the actual Skinwalker free space in the middle of our card to declare, "BINGO! I've got Supernatural Bingo!"

I shouldn't even need to add this because it is in no way a conflict of interest or benefits anyone, but just by way of full disclosure I'll admit a good friend of mine worked on this show. And what ever little he was willing to share with me was enough to make my blood run cold. I've heard before the Navajo believe the Skinwalkers themselves will not only take many different forms, they will, in a manner of speaking, become attached to someone and stay with them long after they've left the area. Which is just one of the surreal, paranormal aspects of this part of North America.

If you don't buy into the myths and legends, fine. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. And the oral tradition passed down among a people since they first lived on this land in ancient times might not be enough for you to go on. That's up to you. But you'll have a much harder time just dismissing the video evidence presented in that clip. Those four rectangles zizzing around the desert sky weren't nothing. They weren't some natural phenomena. Not a weather event. Not the DVD logo bouncing around the screen hoping to go right into the corner:

They were very strange objects flying around strangely in one of the strangest places on the planet. And also unhinging even the most experienced investigators whose highly sensitive equipment detected them. If these sightings can freak them out, and my buddy - the people who were actually boots on the ground - the question is, how are we all not freaked out by now?
