Once A Knick, Always A Knick: Charles Oakley Set The Tone For Game 5 By Ripping Joel Embiid To Shreds For Being A Massive Crybaby

If this series has taught us anything it's these very simple things:

1. Jalen Brunson is a superstar

2. Joel Embiid is the dirtiest player in the game.

3. Former Knicks players will still go to war for the team, no matter the time or place.

The last holds true with Charles Oakley who has threatened to smack Joel Embiid and now boom, roasted him to the depths of the hell. Good luck coming back from being the next Dunkin Donut. Not entirely sure what he's trying to say there, but it's an insult I will be using more and more of. If it's good enough for Oak, it's good enough for me. Every time in this series there's a former Knick going crazy and now that Bogdanovic is out, Starks might get the 10 minutes he's been begging for.

Starks could easily get out there and buy us some minutes. He'd also 100% be more effective than Tobias Harris, so another win for the Knicks depth. But now you also have Oak getting in the mix. I don't know where he stands with MSG and whatnot, but we need Oakley in the front row. It's called intimidation and the one thing that's a lock is the Sixers fold under pressure and intimidation. This is how you get the last win. Let Oakley go from seat to seat, wherever he wants and can just stand there staring daggers at Embiid.

But if this man is out here calling you a Dunkin Donut (again, makes no sense. I think he's calling him soft and saying a Donut is soft) you know he's capable of getting into Embiid's head. Win 1 more game boys. 1 more.
