The Browns Are So Back As Deshaun Watson Is Now Reportedly Able To "Throw 40 Yards" And Nick Chubb Has Begun To "Run On Land" Again
Remember when Danny Hurley said this and then UConn went on to win back-to-back National Championships? That's kind of how I feel this morning, waking up after shooting the 48 Hour Chicago Film Fest, and catching up on all of my Browns news. Because yeah, the rest of the NFL may have gotten us every single season since returning to Cleveland in 1999, but it's officially coming. Sure, we went to the playoffs last year on the back on Joe Flacco, but we were down essentially our Top 50 players not named Myles Garrett. And now they're back, and we're coming for it all this year baby. Starting with our $230 million guaranteed for a few games here and there when he's not injured / suspended man, who is now throwing a reportedly whopping FORTY YARDS!
You can think I'm joking all you want, but don't forget there was a time last year where he was throwing negative ten yards per pass.
Talk about a +50 net gain from September of last year. And not only is Watson looking like he'll be able to start Week 1 for the Browns…..make sure you're sitting when I tell you this, but Nick Chubb is officially RUNNING ON LAND!
You guys know where football games are played? ON LAND. Chubb is out of the pool and officially running how ball players do. Practice how you play.
The fact of the matter is that stars are on their way back and are starting to align. Now we just need to use our 1st round draft pick well on Thursday, oh wait we lost 3 straight to get Watson. Whatever. Gone are the days where the Browns biggest holiday is the NFL Draft. We're not the Bears, we're the Browns. And we're coming through 40 yard passes and running on land. We're / I'm coming.
