Not only is it not exactly a secret that Draymond Green and Jusurf Nurkic have some issues, it's also not a secret as to why

From that moment on, we've had your traditional NBA Twitter back and forth between the two. Nothing crazy, just your typical NBA beef. Things continued to escalate after their most recent game in February

so the second the clock hit 0.0 and Draymond's season officially ended, you knew it was only a matter of time before Nurkic weighed in. This is the NBA after all, it's as petty of a league as you'll ever find and everyone knows NBA players love to talk shit on Twitter. Which is why it wasn't surprising at all to see Nurkic wasted no time

The beauty of this burn is that there are layers to it. You could apply the "That's All Folks" to the Warriors 2024 season, because there's no two ways about it, that thing is over. You could also apply it to the idea that the Warriors Dynasty is over, and while that's still technically TBD, is it really? I have no choice but to respect a multi-layered burn. If anyone's allowed to talk shit to Draymond, I feel like Nurkic checks the boxes.

A part of me thought maybe Nurkic should have just kept quiet, seeing as how his own team has a hell of a challenge in the first round against the Wolves, but the more I thought about it I feel like if you're talking shit to a guy who couldn't even make the playoffs, it doesn't matter if you lose in the first round. For starters, we're talking about the now, and at the end of the day even if you get swept in RD1 at least you made RD1. Draymond Green can't say that, so the win clearly has to go to Nurkic right? What's the response? The typical "talk about rings" or whatever? My guess is we'll get some sort of variation of that or the fact that Draymond is a HOFer and he'll never experience what they did in GS blah blah blah. You know Draymond isn't going to be able to hold back, which is another reason why I'm glad Nurkic hit send on that tweet. Now that Draymond has some time on his hands, let's get nuts.

Oh yeah, I guess we should probably end with what everyone always says when this kind of stuff happens right? You know the drill….
