Alex Pereira KOs Jamahal Hill In The Very First Round To Cap Off UFC 300

WOW. That was some insane power on display from Alex Pereira!

I'm not gonna lie - I wanted the fight to go on a little longer than it did (even after watching seven hours of bouts) just because I didn't want this night to end!

Poaton had something to say about that, though, and put Jamahal Hill down with the first clean punch he hit him with tonight. It was right after an accidental low blow from Hill, too, and Herb Dean tried to stop the action to give him time - but Pereira waved Herb off, and finished the fight seconds later. I'm a Jamahal Hill guy because he's always been so kind to us at Barstool, but I'd be lying if I said the knockout wasn't pretty badass. Plus the celebration made me laugh....

Might be the most expression/emotion I've ever seen outta him!

After the fight, Poaton called for a quick turnaround for a fight at heavyweight in Brazil on May 4th - and I'm so here for it. He's got an amazing aura around him right now, and a scrap at heavyweight in less than a month will only add to the legend.

Again - this was an ALL TIME card from the UFC. I'd say 300 lived up to the hype and then some tonight.

Thank you to the UFC for giving me a seat on press row to witness history!! I'm eternally grateful.
