LEAVE JASON DAY AND HIS CRAZY CLOTHES ALONE!

One of the hardest things in life to do is reinvent your look after around the age of 25. You wear the same clothes for the rest of your life, you get the same haircut for the rest of your life, and maybe if you're really feeling adventurous then you can mess around with your facial hair a bit.

Either way, you're locked in for the long haul. And if you attempt to break that mold you set for yourself, everybody is immediately going to question just what the frick is going on. There might be a shirt you want to wear, or a haircut you're interested to see how it would look on you. But you're a 36-year-old man. Nobody changes their look at 36.

But Jason Day is at least trying to.

And you know what? There's at least something admirable about it. Don't get me wrong, the vest is absolute dog shit. Personally I didn't have any qualms with the parachute pants during his round on Thursday.

I actually think they look pretty good. Maybe you could argue that Jason Day isn't the guy to bring back the parachute pants on the course. But then I ask you, who is? If not Jason Day, then who?

The vest is an issue. But at least he's going for it, ya know? At least he has the courage to walk into his closet and pull out the most ridiculous combination of things he can find in there. It's easy to go out there and look good with golf attire nowadays. The athleisure movement has made dressing for golf significantly less douchey over the years. But if you want to go out there and make a statement with your look? Well there aren't many guys left on the tour willing to do it.

So leave Jason Day alone!
