United Airlines Pilot Caught On Camera Replacing Plane's Window Moments Before The Flight Was Set To Take Off

Source - A United Airlines passenger was rattled after she watched a window get replaced on her flight moments before taking off ... by none other than what appears to be one of the pilots.

The passenger -- a self-described toddler expert named Kristin -- documented the experience on her IG Story Sunday ... filming what appeared to be the flight's pilot fixing the interior side of one window, this before her plane from Denver to Dallas was due to hit the sky.

She wrote ... "They are literally replacing a window with all of us just chilling and sitting here waiting to take off?!?!?!"

You know what? I don't hate it. This is clearly a guy who's number one priority is pushing away from the gate on time and that's something I can get behind. Is it a little nerve-wracking? Sure, but at the end of the end of the day they got to where they were going on time and that's all that matters. What are you going to do wait an hour for the maintenance guy to show up just so he can be the one to snap it into place? No. You take matters into your own hands and get this show on the road. That said I wouldn't want to be next to the window, but if I'm a few rows back I have no problem with it. Despite what "@biglittlefeelings" says, life goes on. (Hopefully). 

Side note: I looked into the lady who posted the video and she has 3.1 MILLION followers on Instagram. Basically she gives advice on how to deal with toddlers and probably makes a bagillion dollars per year doing it. I wanted to hate her but I can't. Game respect game. 

Anyway, everyone is on edge after Boeing got caught half assing their safety measures a few weeks back. The guy who blew the whistle on the situation was also found dead but that's neither here nor there...

While Boeing's 737 Max 9 jets were initially grounded over the safety concerns, they were given the green light by the FAA to start carrying passengers again after passing a thorough inspection … this despite some -- including a whistleblower, who recently passed -- were trying to sound the alarm.

As long as everyone on this flight is okay I'll chalk this up as a win. I'd probably even shake the pilots hand on the way out. That's it for this one. Thanks for reading.
