The Tyson Chicken Conspiracy Theory That Led To John Calipari Being The Next Head Coach At Arkansas

How deep does this go! Our guy Blutman, who I have no idea how he gets things, posted this last night. John Tyson, yes the Tyson Chicken guy, is the main reason John Calipari is at Arkansas. Well that, along with Wisconsin, Luke Maye, Auburn, St. Peter's and Jack Gohlke. But think about the insane butterfly effect here:

- SMU blows a lead to Indiana State in the NIT after winning 20 games this season.

- SMU, moving to the ACC, decides to fire Rob Lanier after a couple seasons because they 'need' someone better with the move to the ACC.

- Andy Enfield, who was getting stale at USC sees the opportunity to jump to a program with deep pockets and moving to the ACC.

- Eric Musselman, who was rumored for every job this season, sees the chance to get back to the West coast and move into known Big 10 program USC.

- John Calipari takes the Arkansas job

It makes no goddamn sense! And then I see this about the chicken guy. He attended all 3 schools involved here to get Calipari out of Kentucky. I'm still trying to figure out the USC thing, his Phi Delt bio has the other two schools listed. I have no choice but to blindly believe he went to USC too. Not to mention Jerry Jones is ignoring the Cowboys to hire Calipari.

There's too many moving parts here for me not to think this is a conspiracy theory of sorts. We have people leaving Tyson Chicken outside of Bud Walton

It still doesn't feel real. I'm not in the denial stage, I'm just in how the fuck did he end up at Arkansas stage. I mean it's a rival! Kentucky-Arkansas was a massive rivalry in the 90s before Florida took over for Arkansas in the 2000s. But now we have a conspiracy theory. The damn chicken guy really did this all.
