CBB IN 60 PRESENTED BY EXPRESS: UConn and Purdue Advance To Monday's Championship Game

Hello, college hoops fans! It’s time for another edition of CBB in 60 presented by Express.

The national semifinals are complete, and two teams are advancing to Monday night’s championship game. Let’s start off with the Purdue Boilermakers. Folks, this game was UGLY, there is no disputing that. But the 1 seed out of the B1G did enough to move on. 63-50 the final over this year’s remarkable story in NC State.

20 points, 12 rebounds for Zach Edey, but there wasn’t much celebrating in the Purdue locker room postgame. The Boilermakers have their eyes set on one more win to complete the ultimate redemption story after losing to a 16 seed last year.

Moving on to Game 2, the Connecticut Huskies continued their dominance in this tourmanent. UConn knocked out Alabama in a 86-72 victory, and the Crimson Tide played really well, especially in the first half. They were 8 of 11 from 3, yet UConn STILL lead by 4 going into the break.

Dan Hurley’s squad is just 40 minutes away from doing something that we haven’t seen since the 2006-2007 Florida Gators: win back-to-back NCAA Tournaments.

That’s your CBB in 60 presented by Express, see you tomorrow!
