CBB IN 60 PRESENTED BY EXPRESS: The Sweet 16 Is Set, And We Have A Ton Of Chalk

Good afternoon! The opening weekend of the tournament is complete, and it’s time for another edition of CBB IN 60 presented by EXPRESS. Today, I am wearing my navy henley, slim grey jeans, and white sneakers. I chosse express because their clothes make me feel confident and comfortable. You know who else is an EXPRESS athlete? Tyrese Proctor on Duke. His Blue Devils are still dancing. Alright, start the clock…

We started this tournament with 68 teams, but now, just 16 remain. Despite some chaos in the first round, it was mostly chalk in the Round of 32.

Let’s start in the East, where the top four seeds remaining dismantled their opponents over the weekend: UConn, San Diego State, Illinois, and Iowa State will meet in Boston on Thursday.

Out West, the only surprise of Round 2 came from the Clemson Tigers, who took out Baylor. Clemson heads to LA for a date with No. 2 Arizona, while North Carolina and Alabama will go at it.

Right side of the bracket, perhaps the most exciting finish in the Round of 32, where Houston let up an 11 point lead with a minute and a half to go, but survived in OT. The Cougars will face Duke in Dallas, along with NC State and Marquette.

Finally in Detroit, Purdue, Gonzaga, Creighton, and Tennessee all advance to the second weekend, and Boilermakers look hungry to pull a Virginia and win it all after losing to a 16 seed.
