I Interviewed Kelly Keegs. I Couldn't Have Timed This Any Worse

When I announced that I would be doing this interview, I could actually read the comments people wrote through gritted teeth. For many Stoolies, these are the last two people anybody wants to hear from him, but that's kind of why I did it. If hate views are necessary at this point, then I'll put up with it. Maybe people have moved past the drama at this point. I'm sure that they have. This week has been more focused on the Klemmer "Truman Show" stream than anything, but I believe in letting people speak. It's not my place to come up with an opinion; it's simply my place to ask questions, which I'm happy to do. She is the president, after all.

Even without the drama, I wanted to get Keegs on Chris And Company at some point. I accelerated the scheduling because of everything that went down. I always find it interesting when somebody messes up in the eyes of the Stoolies. What's the next step? Are they supposed to crawl into a hole and die? Everyone has to stare down the barrel of a gun at some point. I mean that metaphorically, of course.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Yeah, I could not have timed this any worse. I'll just leave out the fact that given everything that's happened throughout this week, this interview is essentially irrelevant. Whatever. I'm proud of the interview. Not everything you do is going to hit. It's not that big a deal. I haven't really been paying a whole lot of attention to the Klemmer stream, though I'm rooting for the guy. I had two interviews to record and edit yesterday as I continued to blindly reach out to random Michigan athletes, begging them to be on my show in the hopes that I could save my job while working with a producer that I hired. It's a bit difficult for me to keep up with every single fucking thing that goes on at this company on a second-by-second basis. Okay, end of rant. Back to the original blog. Keep watching Chris And Company.

This was our longest interview today, so I appreciate Kelly taking the time to sit down and talk to me. I hope that Chris and Company can become a platform for people (especially Barstool personalities) to be open about their experiences here. I'm not trying to act as anyone's therapist, but as someone who has seemingly gone out of his way to embarrass himself at points while working here, I want to try to give a laid-back vibe. Laid-back is not always easy for somebody who has as much nervous energy as I do.

We will be back next week with two more episodes. Tigers first-round pick and top MLB prospect Max Clark will join the show on Tuesday, and on Friday, we will have a really fun interview with Brandon Walker. I'm really proud of what we're doing, and I hope that you guys are enjoying it. DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE!
