The Falcons Are Now -250 To Land Justin Fields

The smoke is billowing in regards to Justin Fields potentially being the Atlanta Falcons' next starting quarterback. In addition to a report from NBC Chicago that the Falcons have checked in with the Bears about Fields and a viral video of Fields celebrating in which you can hear someone mention the Kennesaw, Georgia native going "home," Atlanta is now -250 on DraftKings to be Fields's next team.

With all of this coming together during the NFL Combine, it seems entirely possible something could happen this week. And Bears GM Ryan Poles said if the team was going to trade Fields, it would likely come before free agency begins on March 13.

I'm all in on Fields. He gets to lead an offense with plenty of weapons and Atlanta gets a guy who has proven he has the ability to get it done in the NFL in the right circumstances rather than taking a chance on the third- or fourth-best quarterback in this year's Draft. The only drawback is potentially having to pay Fields in a year, but if he's good, nobody will care. You should be dying to pay a quarterback a boatload of money because it means you've found one.

I just want another guy. These post-Matt Ryan years have been bullshit and I hope everyone who ever criticized that future Hall of Famer realizes how remarkably stupid that was now. He was awesome and I want another quarterback who's awesome. Let's have it be Justin Fields.
